Account Director
Our client is an Auckland based boutique agency, with a focus on retail and shopper marketing, product launches, promotions and experiential. They are looking for an Account Director to join their team.
As the key day-to-day contact and the face of the agency for the client, this role is vital in contributing to the growth of client’s businesses. You will demonstrate strong leadership skills, strategic direction and the ability to build great working relationships with all key stakeholders, representing the agency in a professional manner and leading clients with strong commercial acumen.
You will be able to establish and foster great relationships with client’s, you will build trust and act as a true business partner. Internally, you will be seen as the key client lead with a thorough understanding of strategic business objectives, holistically and from brief-to-brief.
The role requires exceptional communication skills, and the confidence to discuss and problem-solve challenges. You will be proactive in your communications and be able to lead conversations in a positive and productive manner.
With proven strategic thinking, you have the ability to constructively challenge briefs (externally) and the work (internally) and always be looking for opportunities for growth.
The right person for this role will be approachable, empathetic, and willing to get stuck in. There will be multi-tasking required, you will be solutions-focused whilst balancing a number of projects at one time. Strong relationships are required in this role with internal and external stakeholder management a vital aspect. You will be personable, able to communicate well and value strong relationships with the team and with clients.
