Account Manager

Our client is quite possibly New Zealand, Christchurch-based, first multi-disciplinary Creative Agency with a focus on positivity, with clients including not-for-profits, and purpose-driven businesses. They are looking for an Account Manager for a freelance role, 10-15 hours/week for 3 months, with the potential to extend.

Running a tight team and pulling in freelancers as needed, this will be the first in-office role other than the founders, picking up the slack where they need support. This role is perfect for someone with 3+ years of experience in account management, brand coordination, or campaign/project management roles (whether that’s agency side or client side) Extra bonus points for proven experience managing social media and influencer campaigns end-to-end.

The right person for this role will have strong organisational skills, confident communication and great attention to detail. You will have experience in a creative agency or fast-paced brand environment and a good grasp of analytics and performance dashboards.

The role is all about organising social media calendars and making sure everything aligns with brand goals. You will manage posts, stories, reels, vids, keeping it all on-brand and on point.

You will also be tracking performance, spotting trends (like the latest TikTok audio), and adjusting as needed. Plus you will have email marketing covered (from planning to writing and sending) and know enough SEO to make sure content gets found.

In a nutshell, it is a bit of a juggling act, with multiple clients and projects on the go, and working closely with freelancers, videographers, and photographers to get the job done.
