Content Creator

Do you want to be a part of communicating and shaping the Digital Marketing future in New Zealand?

Our client is an online Digital Marketing School, who are looking for a new Content Creator to join them on-site in Manukau, Auckland, to get their messages out to the world around the school, offerings, courses, incentives and why you should join, as well as publicise the benefits and what life looks like on campus.  They would love it if you have worked for a Maori or Pasifika business and have an awareness of working within this sector.

You will produce publishable content to further develop and enhance the brand and create a greater awareness amongst its stakeholders who are students, agents etc to ensure an increase in leads going onto enrolments.

You will:

  • Lead the development of content initiatives in all forms to drive traffic to the business and marketing channels (social media channels, blog, email marketing, website, newsletters, etc.)
  • Develop advertising and marketing material to raise the profile and awareness of the school in the relevant stakeholder communities.
  • Ensure marketing material is up-to-date and includes the latest intake dates and programme content.
  • Liaise with the school and marketing suppliers e.g. printers to organise quotes and coordinate printing deadlines, graphic designers and advertisers to book ads.
  • Support the increase on leads generation through storytelling and SEO, as well as increase the traffic into the schools marketing channels, through the consistent development of content to each persona group.
  • Provide campus marketing resources upon request for:
    - Prospectuses and brochures
    - Application forms (Intl and domestic)
  • Ensure website material is updated regularly including programme information and news and events. Create the content for the blog and regular external newsletters. Identify and capture every possible opportunity for brand promotion.
  • Develop and design advertising and marketing material for the recruitment of domestic and international students. This includes working directly with the Digital Marketing Coordinator and supporting them and the Managing Director on marketing and advertising deadlines.
  • Assist with the implementation of social media strategies, including management of Facebook pages, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn and any other social media used in the future.
  • Support the Digital Marketing Coordinator with building up a portfolio of student success stories on past and current students. This includes external visits to student workplaces, interviews, photos and videos.
  • Create infographics and design pieces to communicate information for marketing collateral, presentations and online content.
