Job Title: Creative Team (Art Director & Copywriter)

Salary: £40,000 -  £45,000 /yr

Location: London – Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)


We have an exciting opportunity for an established mid / senior level Creative Team with experience across social, branding, and digital to join a global business in their content and creative team based in London.

Our client has several sub-brands who are loved in the sports, outdoor, fashion and lifestyle space. They are looking for a talented and ambitious Creative Team, consisting of a Copywriter, and an Art Director, to play a pivotal role in shaping the visual identity of these brands.

This is a hybrid role, with 3 days of the week spent collaborating in their London office, and the other two days working from home.

You will work together to bring brilliant ideas to tell beautiful stories about their brands, making them household names, driving deep engagement with their consumers and make the products the most desirable.

You will enjoy collaborating and are known for creating strong ideas that really connect with an audience and deliver effective commercial results. You love to think differently and know how to pitch your ideas and demonstrate how they answer the brief. You have an instinct for what works across art direction, copywriting, graphic design, typography and moving image.

Reporting to the Creative Director, together you will be confident taking and directing others to take your creative ideas from concept to reality.

As the Art Director, you will thrive getting the opportunity to work across 7 different brands which range in size, positioning, teams, and outputs. You will coordinate and direct high profile global shoots, with the ability to manage and motivate teams to get the best out of shoot crews/talent.

You will bring fresh, innovative, and strategically aligned solutions to inspire and motivate each brand to be creatively progressive, making the brands more desirable and relevant.

As the Copywriter, you will bring top notch conceptual thinking and have a way with words to express your ideas fluidly. Whether it’s a big idea for a large comms campaign, production propositions to bring a new launch to life or social reactive posts reacting to what is happening in culture. You will have the confidence to have robust discussions around the worth and won’t settle for anything that’s not great.

Together, you are experts in making work that lives across all the channels in their consumers lives – whether that is social or selling. Elevating across the entire journey. You will develop campaigns with particular emphasis on digital, including websites, and social – from pre-brief, through strategic development and creative execution.

You are both good at building key relationships with brand teams, account managers, creative producers and enjoy working closely with the creative team made up of Art Directors, designers, social content creators and production as well as external talent we bring in on a project basis.

Perhaps most importantly, you will be part of building a culture of curiosity, craft and creative energy, making this team feel like the epicentre of creative fizz at this company. This is a team of passionate, curious, fun and creative individuals.
