Digital Design Tutor

Do you want to be a part of shaping the Digital Design future in New Zealand? Our client is a Digital Marketing Online School, who are looking for a new Digital Design Tutor to join their growing team. This role requires someone with industry, and ideally teaching expertise to inspire the next generation of Digital Marketers and Designers.

As well as teaching, this position has responsibility for:

  • Developing lesson plans and additional teaching resources including video content from scratch
  • Marking assessments and completing Moderation (they will provide training)
  • Developing curriculum and assessments
  • Supporting Learners with personalised care


Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current experience in the industry. This could include but is not limited to social media, content marketing, SEM, SEO, email marketing, design, e-Commerce, and web development
  • Prior experience in teaching and/or training ideally with experience in delivering online
  • A relevant tertiary level qualification in design, marketing, or digital marketing, or equivalent


The following experience would be an advantage:

  • A suitable teaching or education related qualification such as a Certificate in Adult Teaching or Train the Trainer
  • Degree-level tertiary qualification in design, marketing, or digital marketing, or equivalent
  • Prior experience in curriculum development, assessment writing and moderation
  • Experience delivering training online including developing video content to support the learning
  • Experience working with learning management systems
  • Experience developing new programmes


Our client has a preference for full-time hours and Auckland based, however, will consider remote candidates who are happy to travel on occasion. Please note this role requires taking evening classes, therefore you will need to have a flexible schedule.
