Graphic Designer

Our client is a London based architecture / urban planner company, who are well established and have an excellent reputation.

Their values ensure they approach all their projects through a process of understanding, engaging, and creating. This means unearthing the real needs of a community, empowering stakeholders, creating goodwill, inspiring community spirit and building consensus.

They undertake placemaking projects at every scale, from cities and towns, to neighbourhoods, streets and the design of individual buildings; creating new places and breathing life into old ones.

Our client uses a ‘Place Branding’ approach to create place narratives that tell memorable and authentic stories, linking place and context with people and culture. This is achieved through placemaking and cultural concepts, naming, graphics, and narrative, all informed by thorough research and engagement. Graphical communication is integral to the success of their projects, and this role will play a key role in crafting this vision. In addition to supporting project teams, you will collaborate with their marketing and communications team to create compelling social media and website collateral.

This includes graphics and animations tailored to various platforms, curating cohesive feeds and creating short-form video content to enhance their online presence. You will also assist with in-house studio and events graphics, and provide support with awards submissions. The role will suit an experienced designer who is able to demonstrate a high level of creativity and a good eye for detail.

Enthusiasm for and experience of design for print including reports, brochures and exhibitions is essential. Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (in particular Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop) is essential. Experience of film, editing and animation would be highly desirable. The successful candidate will have strong design and organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deliver to tight deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.

Candidates must be creative, highly motivated and detail-orientated, with proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

If you have an interest in architecture and the build environment - we would love to hear from you.
