Graphic Designer - Midweight

This company is a leading supplier of quality wholefoods across Australia and internationally. With a growing in-house marketing team, they are looking for a Midweight Graphic Designer to work across multiple brands. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a wide range of projects, from start to finish, within the organic and natural food and beverage sectors.

Our client is on the lookout for a highly creative, organised, and motivated Midweight Graphic Designer with a strong visual aesthetic. This role will see you as a key member of the marketing team, working on local and international projects to help elevate brand presence across multiple platforms.

Working closely with their Marketing Director, you will have a varied workload, where no two days are the same. You’ll be responsible for designing content such as videos, infographics, advertising, packaging updates, sales support materials, print, and digital assets.

The Role:

  • Develop and deliver campaign artwork and assets in line with the brand's needs
  • Collaborate with internal teams to conceptualize and execute creative solutions across various media platforms
  • Stay informed on the latest trends and industry standards
  • Work closely with the team (or project lead) to create on-brief creative for a variety of projects
  • Video editing and basic motion graphic experience is desirable
  • Deliver creative assets on time and within budget
  • Design marketing communication materials, including theme development and individual piece designs
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the brand guidelines while seeking innovative practices
  • Provide input on time and resource estimates for projects in collaboration with Account Managers
  • Proactively recommend creative strategies for marketing proposals

 

Ideal Experience:

  • Relevant design degree and 3–4 years of experience in an in-house creative department or similar role
  • Strong communication, conceptual thinking, and design skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Expert knowledge in digital & print production processes
  • 3–4 years of studio or in-house experience, preferably within the food and beverage industry
  • Experience across print and digital mediums with some video editing or motion design
  • Ability to work on multiple campaign layouts across various media, including print, social media, and digital displays
  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • A passion for conceptual development and teamwork
  • Ability to take control of projects and deliver from brief to completion
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to guide and mentor junior team members when required
