Senior Account Manager

Our client is an independent digital and creative agency based in Surry Hills, Sydney offering a full-service package across a wide variety of campaigns and projects. From new website builds and maintenance to creative marketing campaigns or shooting a TV ad, they are passionate about innovation and strive to deliver interesting and effective solutions for their clients.

Reporting to the General Manager, they are looking for an experienced Senior Account Manager to join their Account Service Team.

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Lead, manage, and grow relationships with key agency clients and partners.
  • Work collaboratively with the Creative Director and Head of Web to ensure smooth running of agency projects.
  • Manage the progression of the junior team and provide mentorship in developing Account Management skills with constructive feedback.
  • Work with internal stakeholders (Creative & Development) to complete projects on time, in budget and at a high quality.
  • Resource Management of the creative and studio teams, ensuring client priorities are established and deadlines met.
  • Run integrated projects across digital, broadcast, and print and understand how each platform interacts with each other to support the broader client strategy.
  • Report on EDM and Website and provide recommendations or optimisation to clients for better success.
  • Lead client Weekly and Project WIP meetings, ensuring that deadlines are hit, and weekly status is provided.
  • Manage financials across retainer and project jobs, including monthly reports for your clients.

 

As an ideal candidate, you will have:

  • Degree in Advertising, Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or similar
  • 3+ years’ experience as a Senior Account Manager
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Top notch organisational skills and able to juggle multiple tasks & projects simultaneously
  • Attention to detail
  • Initiative
  • Willingness to learn
