Senior Graphic Designer

This senior, permanent design role will see you surrounded with beautiful and interesting artefacts every day, whilst producing high-end catalogues and collateral, maintaining the brand.

In this role you will manage and deliver the overall design, production, and distribution of all digital and printed material of the organisation in accordance with the overall marketing strategy and brand guidelines.

This role will incorporate the following key responsibilities but is not limited to:

• Working closely with the Head of Marketing to implement design strategy and brand guidelines.
• In collaboration with the Head of Marketing, assist in the development of the company style for all marketing materials including catalogues, print and online collateral, ensuring that all materials reflect the agreed company style and brand standards.
• In collaboration with the Head of Marketing, manage both internal and external catalogue production for all departments, ensuring you work with department heads to produce required publications on time and to an exceptional standard.
• Work with third party advertising agencies to deliver content on time and in the correct formats.
• Generate, develop, and communicate new ideas around creative content creation. Manage all stages of the ideation cycle, from innovation, to development, to actualisation.
• Ensure the proofing of all printed and online advertising and marketing collateral, ensure everything is signed off before it is supplied to third parties.
• Provide artistic and aesthetic direction around the presentation of all digital platforms.
• Manage technical design aspects of the website ensuring this always looks incredible.
• Assist in the managing of the website visual look and ensure content is always current and correct.
• Assist with the style direction and execution of EDMs.
• Work with the wider Marketing team to create content across varying mediums to support digital marketing campaigns across all platforms including websites, email, social media and display advertising.
• In collaboration with the marketing team, produce high quality styled images for major live sales using creative, new and exciting ideas.
• In collaboration with the marketing team, produce high quality video assets for sales using creative, new and exciting ideas.
• Provide styling direction for all creative content in collaboration with other senior colleagues.
• Production management of any external shoots for the company Coordination of all third-party suppliers
• Assist with and direct if needed organic reel and video asset creation in app for the likes of TikTok and IG if required.
• Manage and work with freelance designers when required for large projects.
• For all large collection proposals, be involved in the development of the appearance of the final document to ensure the company is maximising its opportunity to win the business.
• Create and manage folders for all campaigns, including images, advertising bookings and material, media releases, website, and social media content.
• Attend related events outside of hours on behalf of the company
  General marketing assistance in line with requirements set out by the General Manager or Marketing Lead.

Summary

While there are demanding requirements within these above specific tasks there will be requirements from time-to- time, whereby you will be needed to oversee more menial tasks or chip in with the entire team.

Desirable Criteria

• Degree in graphic design
• 5+ years’ design experience
• Strong print experience in sending large files to print and collaborating with printers.
• Art direction and styling experience
• Strong oral and written communication skills Organisational skills, ability to meet tight deadline.
• Strong administration skills
• IT: Photoshop, INDD, Asana, MS Office
• Photography skills
• Videography skills
• Full driver’s license
• Exceptional personal presentation
