Front End Developer
Are you looking for a great 6-month contract where you can use your Front-End developer skills and knowledge?
This in-house development contract, based in New Lynn, Auckland is responsible for providing all the website development that supports marketing initiatives for the entire Business Group.
This is an immediate start contract role, to support the team in developing a full set of websites.
Skillset required:
- WordPress website developer using Elementor plugin
- 2 years of experience working in the field with commercial knowledge
- You must know PHP, Javascript, HTML, and CSS
- You understand databases and systems to ensure the websites can be smoothly integrated with the relevant platforms/systems
- Auckland-based with some remote work available
You are:
- A creative and strategic thinker
- Excellent relationship management with an ability to collaborate with others to achieve shared goals
- Understanding of design, web practices, social media platforms, website maintenance tools, and media technologies
- Ability to prioritize, accept responsibility and use initiative when required
- Possess cultural awareness and sensitivity and able to maintain confidentiality
- Able to perform effectively under busy conditions and meet deadlines
- Demonstrate excellent organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
Education and Experience Requirements:
- A tertiary qualification in Design, Marketing, or a related field
- Highly experienced in WordPress, HTML, CSS, Javascript and PHP with Elementor
- Developing and sustaining productive working relationships with internal and external colleagues
- 2 years or more years in a similar role
- Web development experience
- Understanding of the Treaty of Waitangi
